Danny Fuchs works with governments, entrepreneurs, investors, and community institutions to close the digital divide.

Danny leads the digital opportunity team HR&A, where he also serves on the Board of Directors and previously served as Managing Partner of the New York office. His team has helped shape broadband infrastructure investments and digital inclusion programs to reach more than 40 million American households, and helped build the organizational capacity necessary to deliver across public, private, and nonprofit sectors.

From 2014-2017, Danny served as the Founding Director of the Capital Planning Division of the New York City Department of City Planning, where he built the team that created and managed a $1 billion Neighborhood Development Fund, built the Capital Planning Explorer, launched NYC Planning Labs, and developed new data products to reshape the City’s $100+ billion Ten-Year Capital Strategy. He also served as Co-Chair for Core Infrastructure and Services for OneNYC, New York City’s long-term strategic plan.

For nearly 20 years, Danny has been a creative strategist, team-builder, and trusted advisor to municipal governments, infrastructure investors, tech companies, real estate developers, and stewards of public parks. He holds a degree in architecture and urban studies from Yale University.
